Collaboration

IRRI - Philippines

Nitrogen Parameters is Certified by IRRI in 2002. The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) is the world’s premier research organization dedicated to reducing poverty and hunger through rice science; improving the health and welfare of rice farmers and consumers; and protecting the rice-growing environment for future generations. IRRI is an independent, nonprofit, research and educational institute, founded in 1960 by the Ford and Rockefeller foundations with support from the Philippine government. The institute, headquartered in Los Baños, Philippines. The 4 and 6 Panel LCC we have developed for IRRI is a generalized one which can be used worldwide.

IIRR - ICAR - Hyderabad, Telangana India

Nitrogen Parameters Collaborated with Indian Institute of Rice Research (IIRR) Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) India. The Indian Institute of Rice Research (IIRR), formerly DRR & All India Coordinated Rice Improvement Project (AICRIP), was established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in 1965. In collaboration with IIRR a 5 Panel Customized IIRR LCC developed especially for irrigated ecosystem. Modified LCC (MLCC) is given in a mat laminated folder with more details of the usage of in different languages.

NRRI - ICAR - Cuttack, Odisha India

Nitrogen Parameters Collaborated with NRRI is one of the Institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) India under the Division of Crop Sciences in India. In collaboration with NRRI a new 5 Panel Customized LCC is developed for N management in rice for different ecologies on the basis of spectral evaluation of leaves of hundreds of HYVs and local cultivars grown in Eastern India under different levels of N applications..The 5 panel Customized LCC (CLCC) is given in a mat laminated folder with more details of the usage of CLCC in different languages.

PAU - ICAR Punjab Ludhiana, India

We are working in collaboration with the Department of Soil Science, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) ICAR in India, and was adopted The 'Lalton Khurd' village of Ludhiana district of Punjab State to develop it as a `model village' for site-specific need-based management of fertilizer nitrogen using leaf color chart (LCC) in cereal crops Rice, Wheat and Maize. PAU scientists worked for one year in the village to educate all the farmers for appropriate use of nitrogen using LCC. Farmers were found highly satisfied with the crop performances following LCC-based fertilizer N application.Punjab Agricultural University is one of the leading Agricultural University of the country and awarded as the "Best Agricultural University of 2011". In collaboration with PAU 6 Panel LCC has been developed for Wheat & Maize. It has been developed keeping in view the spectrum properties of varieties popular in India. Moreover it is more suitable to accommodate the varietal differences if any.
